Another disadvantage to this type of insurance is that if no claims are filed on your contract and the contract expires, you are entitled to no type of compensation. With some types of permanent life insurance then you can accumulate some money, that you can withdraw later under some restrictions. This option is not available with term life insurance. If you have a budget but you still want life insurance then starting out with term life insurance is the way to go.

Dealing with a death in the family is hard enough without the added financial burden of paying for the funeral. Even if you are under a tight budget you can afford life insurance with term life insurance. It is definitely one of the most cost efficient ways to protect your family.
